What is a life coach?
A life coach is different things to different people. There are many different areas of each of our lives. Relationships with friends, family, co-workers and significant others. Personal financial goals which include immediate income, short term goals and long term financial planning. Career development may include navigating and excelling in the current workplace, developing a strategy for ascending in the current work environment, a strategy for changing jobs/fields or a long term employment strategy. Personal health involves your current state of physical health and the factors which may accelerate or mitigate development of disease over time. Strategies for managing stress factors by techniques of relaxation, meditation, personal perspective. And many more. These are areas of our life which we commonly depend upon ourselves to develop strategies and plans. Other times, we look to friends, families and mentors. One thing is certain, At one time or another we all have longed to have an unbiased expert opinion from a person who was committed to our individual success. More than some "well-meaning" anectdotal account from a friend.
I’m already successful, why would I need a life coach?
You are precisely the type of individual who would benefit from a Self Development coach from Optimal health today. The person who has tasted some degree of success, most likely would like to experience that success on a consistent basis, in a reproducible fashion to a greater degree. Individuals who live life to the fullest, inevitably focus on daily improvement for themselves and those in their "circle of life". Life is a constant search for balance. Too much time-not enough money. Rewarding, challenging, job-minimal family time. Inequity abounds. Our goal is to assist people to reach their individual potential using our Integrated Wellness System.
How long does the process require?
The time required depends on the goals and the desired outcome. Some executive coaching involves weekly sessions to focus on personal development, leadership and management strategies, organizational paradigms and corporate team strategies to name a few. Other individuals may choose to meet on a less frequent basis. Your first preliminary outcome assessment session will involve an analysis of your goals and propose a meeting schedule. It’s infrequent that one meeting is required because if this interaction concludes successfully, most people would like to focus on another area of improvement.
