What is Optimal Health?

Optimal Health means you perform and feel at your peak in all ways: mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.  In this state you have the energy, drive, and desire to so what you want to live the best possible life at any age.  "Normal" is no longer enough; normal does not prvent disease or slow down the aging process.  Optimal Health is a pro-active, preventative lifestyle that can help you look good, feel great, and live better at any age.
The Strategy of Optimal Health

girl.neditating Optimal health integrates the latest and most effective strategies in Western medicine with Eastern philosophy.  Eastern philosophy emphasizes creating and maintaining a balance between our inner spiritual life and our outer, physical body.  When we are "balanced", we create a foundation upon which to build and experience greater states of wellness.  Being balanced requires focusing on the whole person and consistently developing and improving ourselves to achieve optimal results.

How You Age Makes All The Difference

sr.coup.scene After the age of 30, the aging process begins, starting a slow steady decline in our quality of life.  As we age, many of us experience weight gain, loss of muscle and bone mass, loss of physical strength, difficulty with focus, memory, or concentration, lower libido, sexual dysfunction, depression, and loss of energy, which can affect well-being.  Age Management and Integrated Medicine focuses on improving quality of life and productivity throughout life rather than simply living longer with a poor quality of life.  Age Management believes that optimal levels of health, rather than "normal" levels, are the basis for good health.
